Gabriel Agbonlahore The former Aston Villa striker has urged Manchester United to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and replace unemployed Antonio Conte.
The Red Devils suffered a disappointing performance as they lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday night, losing three of their last four games in all competitions. Nor has suggested Solskjaer should be sacked and have the now unemployed Conte or Zidane take over.
“I don’t think Ole is that person, if it was (Antonio) Conte, he would be fine with Ronaldo in the penalty shootout. You don’t like Fernandes. Ole doesn’t have that kind of strength.” Agbonlahore. Said through talk sports.
“If I was Manchester United now, Chelsea did it with Lampard, eliminating club legends and bringing Tuchel in and look what, Man United had to take Ole out. Then Give him a job on the board, bring Conte in and get the best from the players.”
“Even deciding during the game, Maguire limped for 10 minutes before removing him. You want goals in the last 10 minutes where you pass Cavani, who hasn’t played a minute this season. Wou have Lingard who scored the winning goal against West Ham, you have Sancho bought for 70. Millions of pounds are on the bench.”
“I just think his decision seems distant. I think United have to grit their teeth and get rid of him and take Conte who is unemployed. Zidane is unemployed and can bring out the best of the players.
